I am renting my secluded home on 2.5 acres with two ponds for 6 month while I will be working in NYC. the house has a living room with cathedral ceilings and a south facing floor to ceiling window front. The house has been gut renovated approximately 7 years ago and has a clean modern design. It is 1500 sf on 3 levels and comes fully furnished. The primary bedroom upstairs in the loft has a queen bed and there is a guest bedroom on the main floor with separate entrance, also with queen bed. On the lower level is an office, study with access to a covered deck and to the lawn.
the Scandinavian fire place is the centerpiece for cozy winter days and heats the entire house, there is baseboard heating as well, though. its the perfect time to be up here, a serene place to watch the changing seasons from your living room, the gorgeous colors of the leaves, the snow falling, in spring nature awakening.

I am open to discuss options of rental or swap, full swap or time shares at each others places.(your guest room for my guest room for the 6 month)
I do have a lovely cat that will come with me. He doesn't scratch furniture or is in any way invasive. I also like to have access to the outdoors, a balcony, terrace, garden etc.

I am a costume designer and interior designer (of late) and love to surround myself with beautiful things. I like clean lines and a clean house and have spent some time to carefully accumulate the furniture in the space and I love the idea of sharing the experience of living in this special abode. Its a perfect spot for writers, remote workers or anyone that needs to unwind for a few month.
