Hello! We are looking for a roommate to fill one bedroom in our 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. The apartment is on the top floor of a three unit building, no elevator. Our home has great natural light, plants, a dual washer/dryer unit, and Luna, a very sweet and chill dog. Centrally located, we are 5 minutes from the 2/5 and a 15 minute walk to the Q/B. We are a few blocks away from Prospect Park.

The Room:
The bedroom is spacious and includes a small closet as well as a balcony. In 2023, the room was carpeted and repainted. The bathroom is separate and shared.

Who we are looking for:
Women, queer, or nonbinary folks preferred. We are looking for someone who is exceptionally clean, as well as considerate, and communicative. We are generally chill and quiet, and are looking for someone who doesn’t bring the party home. There is a rule of no alcohol in the common areas and we’d generally prefer someone sober-leaning. We value having a space where we can rest and relax. We mostly keep to ourselves, but occasionally hang out in the common area. Vegetarian/vegan preferred. No other pets or smoking inside, please. We value open communication around sickness/COVID. Lastly, we are looking for queer-friendly folks with anti-racist values who will contribute to making our home feel welcoming.

Who you will be living with:
My name is Sam (she/her). I am a 32 year old queer dance artist/ hair salon manager and have been in New York for the past ten years. My schedule is filled with work, rehearsal, dancing, walking through Prospect Park and biking through the city.

I’m Leonie (they/them), 29 years old, queer and dog parent to Luna. I work in Manhattan and spend most of my free time resting and recharging at home. I enjoy art, pole dancing and tending to my house plants. I have lived in Brooklyn for over 4 years now. You would be sharing a bathroom with me- looking for a fellow neat freak.
