Compensation: Furnished room, private bath, food stipend; car provided for local transportation during work hours; hourly wage for 20 hours/week for coaching/companionship
Description: Two young adults with moderate developmental challenges require a live-in companion/caregiver in a beautiful five-bedroom home within walking distance from town. The companion will have their furnished room and bathroom and have full use of the common areas of the house and grounds. They will be expected to support the adults with daily living skills. Direct support for one or both young adults during the week is required compensation of up to $45/hour. Wages will be paid through a Self-Directed budget/ fiscal intermediary.

Live-in /Overnight hours Sunday evening until Friday morning
Sunday: 10:00 pm - 7:00 am
Monday - Thursday 9:30 pm - 7:00 am

Coaching/Caregiver hours required: 20 paid hours
Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 9:00am
Sunday: 6:00 pm -10:00 pm
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Coaching/Caregiver responsibilities:
Socialize in the evening after dinner
Ensure bedtime and morning routines
Support personal goals
Provide local transportation for morning activities
Communicate with other coaches working with the two adults as well as their family members, especially in urgent situations; participate in one weekly "team meeting" via Zoom
Requirements:
Experience working with young adults, preferably with and ASD or I/DD
Excellent time management and communication skills
Driver’s license and a clean driver record
At least two references
No smoking/vaping/drugs of any kind
No pets
An overall positive and friendly disposition
Flexibility and a willingness to adapt should some circumstances change
Authorized to work in the US
Minimum one-year commitment
