I'm looking for a part-time person to help load in and set up my booth at the Bryant Park Makers Market for the next six weeks. The job entails helping to set up the booth on Friday mornings (7:30am - 10am) and break down and load out my booth on Sunday nights (7pm - 8:30pm). I guarantee a two hour minimum even if we finish early.
The market runs every weekend for the next six weekends starting on Friday, April 25, and ending on Sunday, June 1. During Memorial Day weekend, load out will be on Monday night (May 26) instead of Sunday due to the holiday.
The booth is an 8x8' tent setup and although there is not really any heavy lifting, my husband and I both have physical limitations and cannot do it all. It's pretty simple. For load in you'll help us unload the van (parked on 40th St) and assist with putting up the tent or other light setup work. For load out you'll put some product in boxes and help load the van.
That's about it. Must be on time and must be able to lift about 35lbs. Would be great if you know how to use a drill, but it's not required. I'd like to hire someone who can commit to all six weekends.
Rate: $30/hour - happy to pay in cash or via Venmo
I'm an artist with a booth at the Bryant Park Makers Market (a Spring event that runs every weekend from now through June 1). I sell art and other products with my designs.
