Our retail store offers a breakfast/lunch take out menu Mondays - Fridays 9am - 3pm. We are looking for a smart friendly person with a strong food sensibility to help walk-in customers with their orders as well as manage and pack incoming online orders.
Duties Include:
- Greeting customers as they enter the store
- Answering questions regarding the menu and specials
- Take customer orders and receive payments
- Managing incoming online orders via Square register
- Work with Kitchen staff to coordinate orders
- Pack and hand orders to customers
- Keep counter area clean and well stocked
- Update menu chalk boards
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customers feedback to management and chef
Experience/Skills:
- Previous retail sales, food or cafe experience desired
- Basic Math Skills
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Strong ability to gauge customer preferences
- Experience using Square Register or other POS System
- Basic understanding of food handling and sanitation regulations
- Willingness to learn

GO Catering is a 30+ year old NYC based, woman owned, full service boutique catering company. We cater for some of the top brands and organizations in the arts, entertainment, fashion and business. We also operate a small funky retail store that was spawned during the pandemic when all events were on hold. It’s turned out to be a Tribeca favorite with a loyal following of local breakfast and lunch customers.
