Welcome to Casita—our little sanctuary in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. That’s what Carla and I affectionately call our home, a warm and creative space designed for healing, recharging, and simply slowing down. As two artists, we’ve thoughtfully curated every detail, filling it with handmade and ethically sourced pieces from around the world. One of its most special features is the private patio—almost as big as the apartment itself—offering a hidden retreat amidst the city buzz.
The Space
Our two-bedroom apartment is yours to share with us. You’ll have your own cozy room with a plush floor bed, a work desk, generous natural light, and views of the Williamsburg Bridge and spectacular sunset light.
The common area is open and inviting: a dining table for meals, a full kitchen, and a relaxed TV nook anchored by a handmade Moroccan rug. We’ve got Apple TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime—perfect for a laid-back evening.
And then there’s our favorite spot: the private outdoor patio, accessible straight from the living room. Inspired by the textures and tones of Tulum and Marrakech, it’s a serene escape you’d rarely expect to find in New York.
We’ve called this city home for many years, and this space truly feels like a gem. We hope you’ll feel just as at home here as we do.
My partner Carla and I have called this space home for quite some time now. I’m a commercial film director from Germany with a love for photography, music, and travel. I work from home most days, either developing personal projects or freelancing as a filmmaker.
Carla, originally from Argentina, recently graduated from Parsons with a degree in graphic design and also works as a model.

Now that you know a little about us, we’d love to hear your story! Feel free to tell us a bit about yourself—what brings you to the city, what you’re into, or even drop your socials so we can get a sense of who you are.
We’re ideally looking for someone to stay for one month, but we’re flexible if it’s the right fit—longer stays are definitely possible. If it feels like a great match, we’re open to discussing a minimum one-month arrangement as well.
We’re happy to show you the space either virtually or in person—just let us know what works best for you.
We do ask for one month’s deposit, which will be fully returned on your move-out day.
A few things to keep in mind:
– We’re slowly transitioning back to eating meat after years of being vegetarian, so we’d appreciate it if you could keep heavy meat cooking to a minimum.
– We both work from home often, so you’ll see us around during the day.
– We’d prefer someone with a regular office job or a similar daytime schedule, though that’s not a strict requirement.
– Mostly, we’re just looking for someone kind, respectful, and easygoing. No heavy drinking or overnight guests, please.
If this sounds like a good fit, don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or to schedule a viewing!
