Hi there,
I'm a 41-year-old love coach, and I'm looking to spend the winter in LA to work on a TV project (classic).
I'm looking for a dog-friendly furnished sublet on the east side of LA (Echo Park, Silverlake, Highland Park, Los Feliz, or another excellent neighborhood I'm not aware of.) I'm open to a studio space or 1BR for myself, or to share living space with other kind, fun people.
I plan to be in LA from Dec to June, so ideally, I'd find an excellent spot for the whole 6 months, but I am open to shorter rentals.
My ideal living situation is a quiet oasis that I can come back to after a day out and about.
My dog Roger is a total 11-year-old sweetheart, blind, house-trained, and loaves around most of the day. He's the big one in the photo. Still loves to play fetch but knows that inside time is quiet time. Sheds an average amount for a dog and gets along with other animals.
I have a car, but I would love to be in a neighborhood where I can walk and bike to local coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery stores.
I don't drink and don't mind if others do moderately, and I don't smoke. I am allergic to cats, however!
42-year-old love coach (he/him), writer, and speaker. I'm 16 years sober, but I still love late-night dance parties now and then. I stay active by walking, running, and going to the gym (I mainly love group CrossFit-style workouts) and occasionally take ski or climbing trips.
I'm a great communicator, love to be proactive in creating healthy relationships and friendships, and am generally easy to be around.
I'm an extroverted homebody who needs a good amount of downtime, and I'm sensitive to others' needs and pretty good at reading the room.
I'm tidy and quiet and love a calm household with many plants and natural light. I work from home or coffee shops, and my work consists of lots of writing, a weekly podcast recording, and a few coaching calls a week (that I often do while walking outside).
Ideally, I'd love to find a few people to live with who have full lives but want to share in lively conversation over a communal dinner now and then.
