I am renting one unfurnished bedroom in a three bedroom apartment for $900. The room measures approximately 12.5 x 9 feet and contains a closet and alcove large enough for a bureau/ dresser.
You would be sharing the rest of the apartment (sunny kitchen, medium-sized living space, and a bathroom) with two other roommates: myself (male 40's watercolor artist), and one other (female 40's therapist). Our home is a calm, well-kept space—somewhere to work on creative and personal projects, recharge, and find respite from the city's chaos. We're looking for someone who is interested in maintaining the same atmosphere. There are plenty of little closets and extra storage spaces which are one of my personal favorite features of this apartment, in addition to the natural light the kitchen receives. The apartment is within a quick walk to the Myrtle Wyckoff station (on the L and M lines), though it is also far enough that it isn't an aural burden. A lot of families reside here in the neighborhood, so there is a real domestic, and tranquil air to the street by comparison with others here in Bushwick. And, of course, there are ample delis, bodegas, restaurants, several grocery stores, and cafes nearby. Utilities and internet generally run about $60+ per month.

I'm in my 40's and am interested in keeping a clean, quiet, cozy apartment as a functional abode. I work away from home, and I enjoy evenings in, cooking, or working on personal projects. I consider myself to be respectful, quiet, and clean, and I would like to find someone of a similar disposition. I rarely have guests over though I don't mind if you have an occasional dinner guest or visitor. I like living here quite a bit and am interested in finding someone who is similarly attracted to the place.
