Located in the heart of Crown Heights, we're a recently renovated apartment with in unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, and central air/heat. This room is 7.33' by 11' with a garden view and fire escape access! We have a cozy shared common space and fully stocked kitchen. We are a 1.5 story walk-up in a very small and quiet apartment building. Three bedrooms, one bath.
The unit gets tons of natural light, with this room having a south and western facing window. With a little planning, the room can fit a full sized bed, dresser, desk, and clothes rack. I am also happy for you to keep a bookshelf, desk, or other larger item in the common space.
On Nostrand Avenue, we’re right between the 3 and A/C Nostrand Ave stations, and in walking distance to the 2/4/5.
Please note that applications are due by March 31 for a one year lease starting in May - with a flexible move in date throughout the month starting from May 1.
You'd be living with two considerate and clean people (one man, one woman, not a couple) who love to cook and bake! Mike and I are working professionals who value kindness and communication. We prefer a quieter household on work nights, but guests and friends are welcome with advance notice. Non-smoking and no pets.
I've been in the apartment for two years and cannot recommend the area enough with its green spaces and vibrant community. We're nearby countless restaurants, coffee shops, and community spaces!
Utilities are not included, but come out to around $100 a month ($20 for Internet, $10 for gas, and $40-70 dollars for electric ranging throughout the season).
My name is Cameron (she/her) and I am a 25 year-old professional in Higher Education Development who has lived in the apartment for two years! I am a huge nerd and baker by day and enjoyer of board games and music by night. I consider myself fairly neat and organized, but mainly value respect and communication above all else. Chore charts are fantastic, but sometimes we need to support each other on a bad week!
Mike (he/him) is a genetics postdoc (35) and would be new to the apartment alongside you! We share the same roommate values and love of all things culinary.
