The apartment is filled with fine furniture, gorgeous light, and lush but unfussy plants. Vaulted ceilings, a loft, exposed brick, and a private back deck with a beautiful view opening up above the Mill River. The apartment is in a vibrant neighborhood on the second floor. Incredible Dominican restaurants as well as hidden gem craft breweries and the newest and most well-equipped climbing gym in New Haven are within blocks. The home is very close to Criscuolo Park, a lovely waterside park with spectacular views of the city skyline and many playgrounds.

I'm looking for a short-term renter hoping for a perfect summer residency. Available from May 1st-August 15th, with flexible dates. I'd love to have someone take it for the whole time and I'd be willing to negotiate the price if someone good with plants is involved.

The primary bedroom is large and full of light, a walk-in closet, and a luxurious sunny desk space in the south-facing window overlooking the tree-lined street.

The bedroom has a special loft, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, and double doors to the living room full of windows and skylights. There is a well apportioned kitchen with an eat-in dining nook. Exposed brick and super great amenities (read: premium range stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher) make the kitchen very functional and excellent for extravagant cooking.

There is an expansive dining room space that opens to a private deck with a gas grill and comfortable patio furniture.

There is also a private office space with a large desk and monitors and great light which can be converted into a separate bedroom with its own entrance from the landing area.

The wifi is top of the line and super fast throughout the house.

Fair Haven is a great neighborhood minutes away from East Rock main drags to the north and the Wooster Square pizza belt to the south. Yale's campus is a 20 minute walk or a 10 minute bike ride. The house has a dedicated parking area behind the house with a lockable gate and space for six vehicles.

I'm a graduate student doing research in the Intermountain West this summer and hoping to entrust my home to someone. I'll be easy to reach by phone and the downstairs neighbors are remarkably friendly and will let you use their laundry facilities. The landlord is an incredibly kind and responsive individual who had renovated the entire home for himself and his family before they outgrew the space.
