Hello! :) I’m looking for a roommate to sign a 12-month lease with me in this gorgeous, sunkissed 2BR in East Williamsburg (Montrose L, around the corner from Win Son) with a loft space to boot! Super excited to find someone to create a cozy homey space together!
MOVE IN ASAP — January 1 (can do mid-month, or worst case Feb)
The space is a ✨rent controlled✨ 2BR/1 bath with floor to ceiling windows, a spacious loft (!!! office? yoga studio? craft nook??), central AC/heat, and laundry. Both bedrooms will come unfurnished, but some living room items will stay (including some bookshelves and the couch). One bedroom has a bigger closet and is slightly more private from the shared living spaces, and comes with the king sized mattress/bedframe for purchase if interested. There is also a full size bedframe/mattress available! The common space will come outfitted with my growing plant collection, and the building also comes with common outdoor space for some summer soirées.
The Dirty Details:
Rent: $1675/mo
Utilities: $60-$100/month depending on the season
Security Deposit: 1 month’s rent
Location:
The apartment is around the corner from Montrose L but is within walking distance to the G and JM. Surrounded by cafes, bars, the best brunch in Williamsburg (seriously), citibike docks, and the like!
About you:
Late 20s/30 something (female preferred) who values making an apartment a home, who has fun ideas for how we can use the loft (😍), who is warm/friendly, and who appreciates calm and quiet at home. You’re generally tidy and a good communicator. I’d love to find someone who isn’t shy to a morning coffee or end of day glass of wine from time to time, but who also appreciates time to yourself like I do.
Please reach out, tell me a bit about you and how you share space, and we can go from there!
I’m Katie, I hail from the Midwest, and I’ve been in Brooklyn for over 5 years. I’m quite the busy bee — I love keeping active and can typically be found in the yoga studio, keeping up with friends, or otherwise building a life and community in the city. When I’m at home, it’s usually to rest and recharge before the next day’s big adventure and I’m looking for someone in a similar position (although I’m a big fan of the occasional dinner gathering or game night!).
