I'm a New Yorker, and a part of a community I love. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to move to a new city, how isolating it feels to start over, and how stressful it is to manage a home—especially when life, work, and other responsibilities are already pulling you in different directions.

I have been there! ...for myself, with family members, with parents, grandparents, and great-aunts.... assisting with yet another move, another estate sale, another storage unit, another logistical fiasco of what felt like infinite proportions (falling asleep at 1am, getting notified by the alarm company the door is ajar, waking again at 6am to make sure everything is ready for the movers...) all while we unearthed and (did or didn't) address our entangled histories... it's hard stuff!
