*Room for Rent in Beautiful 2-Bedroom Apartment in Park Slope*
Hi everyone! I’m looking for a roommate to share my spacious 2-bedroom apartment with me and my dog, Atlas.
*Location*:
The apartment is located in Park Slope, just one block from the Prospect Ave R and N trains. It’s a 5-minute ride to Downtown Brooklyn, 15 minutes to Manhattan, and a 15-minute walk to Prospect Park.
*Apartment Details*:
• *Private outdoor space*: The apartment features a large PRIVATE backyard that can be used for various activities including grilling.
• *Available bedroom*: You’ll have the larger bedroom, which is 9.5 x 12.7 feet. It easily fits a king-size bed, a desk, and other furniture. There’s a large closet with double doors, plus extra storage in the living room.
• *Shared spaces*: You’ll share the apartment with just me. The kitchen has new appliances, including a fridge, and the bathroom has a full bathtub and is a large size.
• *Landlord*: The landlord lives in the building and is very helpful with any apartment issues, while also being respectful of privacy and boundaries.
*About Me and Atlas (my dog)*:
I’m an attorney, though I’m currently bartending full-time at a music venue in Downtown Brooklyn. I’m an extrovert, but I also enjoy quiet time at home with Atlas. I like spending time in the backyard, barbecuing, and doing other activities. Music is a big part of my life, and I enjoy creating a space where we can vibe with it. I’m active, train regularly, and consider myself clean and tidy.
Atlas is a professionally trained, well-behaved dog who loves attention and is great with people. He’s generally quiet and won’t disturb the peace unless he feels it’s necessary to protect us.
*What I’m Looking for in a Roommate*:
• Mutual respect and open communication are my top priorities. I’m looking for someone who:
• Is clean and respects shared spaces. I always make time to keep the apartment tidy, including doing dishes, and I expect the same from a roommate.
• Values good communication and respect for personal boundaries.
• Loves dogs! Atlas is very important to me, and I expect anyone living here to treat him with kindness and respect. If you’re not comfortable with dogs, this isn’t the right fit.
• Understands that we both have our personal space and freedom, but is mindful of where that freedom starts and ends. You’re welcome to have guests over, but you’re responsible for ensuring they respect the space, me, and Atlas.
Move in date: ASAP or March 1
*House Rules*:
• No long-term guests
• No other pets
• No couples
• Utilities not included - Shared 50:50
If this sounds like a good fit for you, please reach out! I’m happy to answer any questions.
