About This Lister

ADS is a project of passion. Located in the heart of Newburgh’s Downtown East End Historic District, Jens Veneman and Gita Nandan have created a spot where art, design, and spirits intermingle to create community, joy, and inspiration. Gita and Jens fell in love with Newburgh, its diversity, lively atmosphere, beautiful architecture and scenic Hudson waterfront.

Jens Veneman, a sculptor and architectural fabricator, and Gita Nandan, an architect specializing in net-positive environments, are partners in life and adventures and share a passion for built forms, detailing, pickling, and planted landscapes. The one-story manufacturing building, with it’s unique T-shape configuration, is now converted to house their personal workspaces, art studios, retail spaces, and a project gallery.

We hope to help bring the downtown of newburgh to life, and help it grow as a destination for locals and visitors alike.
