We are heading overseas for the winter to welcome our baby and are looking to sublet our beautiful home on Beach 91st St. (surf block). This space is perfect for a family, surfers, artists, writers, or remote workers seeking a peaceful city getaway with plenty of downtime at the beach. Just one short block from the beach and close to the ferry, the home has a front porch, a huge yard, and plenty of space. It’s a two-story house where we have the entire first floor and half of the second floor, essentially two units rented as one. The home includes two kitchens (one that we use as a laundry room), three bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. This apartment is fully furnished, but we will be moving out all of our personal belongings and kid’s furniture. One block away from the little main strip on the Boulevard and one block away from the grocery store and train. Utilities and WiFi included.

Hello! My name is Ty (he/him) and we run a concession on the boardwalk at Riis Beach in the summer time. The ideal candidate is another family, surfer, artist, writers, or remote worker that loves the beach and is looking for some downtime away from the city this winter. Rockaway Beach is a small, community-oriented peninsula where we have good relationships with most of our neighbors. It is home to a year-round community of surfers, young families, and artists.
