This cozy apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a pull out sofa bed in the living room, and makes this the ideal place for a couple on a romantic getaway, for a small family, or group of friends.
The apartment is set in a renovated 16th Century building with whitewashed stucco and stone walls and a lime-washed beamed ceiling. Light filters through french doors that open onto your garden, where you can have an outdoor breakfast before heading out to explore the city.
All the amenities you could want -- WIFI; wide screen TV; washer; good heating; air conditioning in the summer; and the world's most comfortable beds with fresh linens. Cooks will appreciate a fully equipped kitchen to prepare the fabulous ingredients available from the famous Mercato Centrale, a mere two short blocks away.
Most remarkable of all, once you step out of the building, you're only steps away from the Duomo, the Accademia (home of Michelangelo's David), and the golden stones of the Ponte Vecchio. Superb restaurants (we're happy to recommend our favorites), shopping, and the train station are all within easy walking distance.
The terrace and apartment are on the ground level so there are no stairs to negotiate. There are three steps up to the garden level.
About This Lister
The owner, Carolyn, is an art and opera lover, speaks four languages, and is a devoted Italophile. She lives in Lisbon and spends as much time in Florence as she can. She loves to take care of people, anticipate their needs, and nothing makes her happier than sharing the magnificence and romance of her favorite city.
Sylvia is the manager and contact person who will prepare the apartment for your stay and greet you upon arrival. If you need anything, Sylvia will arrange for it. She lives close by and speaks English. You will have neighbors in the building but the apartment and private garden are situated to give you maximum privacy.

Rental requirements
A 50% deposit is required at booking, with the balance due the day before check-in. According to Italian law it is mandatory to register guests at the city police station. For this reason, a passport (or ID for europeans) will be required prior to check-in. Once we have copies of your documents, we will send you detailed instructions on how to access the apartment.

Check-out: 10am
The rent includes a one time cleaning fee and utilities. If you would like the apartment cleaned with linens and towels refreshed during your stay there will be a charge of €85 per visit by the cleaning service.
We remind you that we calculate a double bed for two people. If you need to sleep individually please let us know so we can prepare the beds you need. Also please advise if you will be using the pull out sofa in the living room and it will be made up before your arrival.
Pets Policy
Up to two small, quiet dogs allowed. Deposit of $100 against urine, breakage, or garden damage.
