The home is a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath on Mt. Washington near Cypress Park. It is named Casa Flores after the diminutive 102 year old socialite that lived here before us. This home has some of the best views in LA with two shared patios facing the San Gabriel mountains and one shared patio facing downtown Los Angeles. We are situated on a quiet dead-end street with a trail to the top of Mt. Washington. We have a front yard and backyard.

Despite being quiet and nestled in the mountain, the house is walking distance (15 minute walk) to the Heritage Square gold line stop where you can catch trains to Highland Park, Lincoln Heights, Pasadena, Downtown, and other locations. We are about 10 mins from Highland Park and 15 mins from DTLA via driving and train and there is street parking available.

There is a 430 sq ft garage that we are setting up as a shared studio and workspace.

The room is approx 140 sq foot with a large closet attached. It is on the second floor up 15 steps. It has one big north-facing window with a view of a beautiful Eucalyptus tree and Mt Washington. It is currently furnished with a queen sized bed. The room has an adjacent bathroom that is private but the shower is shared with one other roommate.

We have laundry onsite and the price includes utilities and internet.

We are open to stays shorter than the whole duration. Possibly a separate two weeks December and full month in January. Just let us know what you are looking for.

About This Lister

We are three friends in our 30's and one sweet 4-year old dog. One of us is an educator, one is a therapist, and another works in a design & technology coop. All three of us have art practices. We are relatively quiet. We like having guests over for meals and we like to host friends from other cities in our spare room. You are welcome to do the same. The house is generally quiet between the hours of 11PM and 7AM. That schedule shifts a little later on Friday and Saturday nights. In general, we are sweet and communicative people. We are looking for the same in another housemate.
