We’re looking for a new roommate for our historic four-bedroom, one-bathroom home in Fort Greene. Your room would be on the third floor and overlooks a tranquil backyard. It's large enough to comfortably fit a queen-sized bed, desk, and a dresser.

The first-floor common areas include a living room with a couch and TV, a dining room, houseplants, and a well-kitted kitchen. We also have a deck with an outdoor dining table.

There is one adorable cat in the home named Maisy. She has free rein of the house, but you can close your bedroom door if you don’t want her in your space (but hopefully you love cats!) No other pets are allowed.

We're located on a quiet street in Fort Greene close to the park. The Clinton/Washington stop on the G is a 5-minute walk away and the C Train is 10 minutes away.

About You:

Our ideal roommate doesn't bring home the party and is courteous, reliable, and respectful. We value a clean home and you would be expected to help with weekly house chores such as taking out the trash, cleaning the bathroom, sweeping the floors, etc. While you don't need to sign the lease, preference will be given to someone who can commit to at least a 6-month stay.

About This Lister

You’ll be sharing the home with three females in their late 20’s, early 30’s. Two of us work in the arts (Graphic Design and Interior Design) and the other is a psychologist working towards a PhD. We usually work from home 1-2 days a week. We’re all good at respecting each other’s privacy and don’t bring the party home. We prefer to keep a quiet, relaxing and most importantly, clean space.
