The room is on the first floor of a townhouse in Bushwick, a 12-minute walk from the J line (Halsey) and the L line (Halsey and Wilson). We are four Spanish-speaking people living here, and most of us work at NYU.

The house has several shared areas, including a living room-dining room-kitchen, a front patio, and a back patio (which can only be accessed through one of the rooms, so we don't use it that much), as well as a washer and dryer. The room we're renting has a shared bathroom with two people and is on the first floor, near the entrance of the house. The house also has a basement room with a private bathroom. The available room has a window facing the front patio. The rent is $1,205 per month. Additionally, you would need to consider the utility costs for gas, electricity, and internet, which are approximately $100 per month, depending on the time of year. The furniture shown in the photos belongs to someone who will no longer be living in the house, so the room will be delivered empty.

For us, it has always been very important to maintain order and cleanliness in the common areas, which is why we are looking for someone committed to that. We organize weekly cleaning shifts by area. We try to keep visits to the house exceptional and sporadic, as we are several people living here, and it can be uncomfortable for the rest. It's also important to us that the new tenant respects the quiet hours at night. Finally, we are looking for someone who has no intention of subletting the room. We had some bad experiences with unknown people in the past, so we prioritize taking care of our living environment above all else. The lease is valid until September 2025.

That's the main information. The house is very nice, and so is the neighborhood. It's a predominantly Latino neighborhood with a lovely park nearby (Irving Square Park) and several restaurants and bars.
