Hello! We have a bedroom available in our 4 bedroom/2 bath apartment April 1st. The rent is $955 per month plus utilities. The room fits a queen size bed and dresser and has a closet, but please note that the only window opens to a shaft, not the outside, and therefore the room does not get much sunlight. The new roommate will need to be approved by the landlord (must have good credit) and sign a 1 year lease. It is a 4 floor walk up. First month’s rent plus $955 security deposit required to move in ($1910 total). No couples, no pets. There is one sweet cat already in the house :)
The current tenant is moving to CA so she's happy to sell her bed and portable AC unit to the new roommate for a low cost if they're interested!
The apartment is located on the border of Crown Heights and Prospect Heights and is a 10 minute walk south of the Clinton Washington C train stop, 15 minute walk north of the Brooklyn Museum 2/3 train stop. B65, B45, B48, B26 and B25 buses are also close by.
We’re a relaxed household but we do have a rotating cleaning schedule. Each person is responsible for cleaning one of the common spaces every 2 weeks. Seeking someone who is able to commit to this.
We are a predominantly queer house. We are welcoming applicants who identify as queer or are deeply committed to supporting queer folks. We are all in our late 20s and early 30s, and would like the new roommate to be 27+.
