Hi! I’m subletting my room in a two-story duplex on the border of Mt. Washington and Highland Park. The space is available from May through July, and you’d be sharing it with Ace (cat) and Vanessa.

My room is upstairs, along with the other bedroom and shared bath. It has SW-facing windows, AC, and a closet, and will come furnished with a queen bed, desk, and chair (I can leave my WFH/audio gear set up if you’re interested, otherwise it’ll be in storage).

Downstairs is a well-stocked kitchen and spacious living-dining room that opens out into a private patio/yard, shaded by fruit trees. Also: dishwasher, AC, new washer/dryer, and parking.

The neighborhood is quiet, tree-lined, and super walkable: 5 minutes to York blvd, 15 to Figueroa, and 25 to the top of Mt Washington. By car it’s 15 minutes to Silverlake, Echo Park, downtown, and Chinatown, with easy bus/metro access as well.

Me (Will, 31): web developer and musician, typically work from home, looking for a subletter while I’m traveling in Europe for a few months.

Vanessa (31): mellow, considerate, and clean sommelier, works 4 nights a week. If she’s not out at a tasting or another industry event, she likes to cook, bake, watch movies on the projector, and occasionally host dinners at home.

Ace (cat): very social and affectionate, can usually be found at your feet or sunbathing in the living room.

You: clean, considerate, able to pay rent, and no pets :( Ideally, you enjoy living with a cat and are happy to pet, play, and top off Ace’s water every so often.
