One bedroom overlooking our backyard in a brownstone shared with three other working professionals. The bedroom has two closets and comfortably fits a queen or king sized bed along with other furniture.
The main kitchen on the ground floor is quite large, with ample storage and a dish washer, is connected to a dining room, and opens to the back garden/patio.
There is a full bathroom on each floor.
The basement has a washer and dryer, storage space, and a communal work area for projects.
There is a double-sized living room with a shared coat closet, a desk setup with a printer, and a shared bureau used for linens.
Rent includes all utilities and the monthly cleaning fee (we have an amazing house cleaner who comes monthly).
This is an old brownstone, the bedroom is on the second floor, and the laundry is in the basement, so unfortunately the ability to walk up and down stairs is necessary.
We are very busy freelancers who value a calm and clean home environment. We leave shared spaces clean after use. We value friends and community, however we do not host wild parties.
The neighborhood has a ton to offer, with an active block association, excellent small businesses, a great grocery store, and is close to Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, Brower Park, and the Brooklyn Public Library.
We are a mixed identity household - POC and LGBTQ+ welcome.
