Hi there! We have a lovely room for rent in our historic Victorian home in Eagle Rock with a huge, peaceful garden. We're located on a quiet street near Colorado Boulevard, within walking distance to shops and restaurants, including Cornerstone Wellness and Vidiots movie theater.

Off-street parking and a washer/dryer are on site. Utilities (internet, gas, and power) cost around $80 per month depending on usage. The house features 100% hardwood floors, and other neat architectural details (like stained glass windows!) that you'd expect in a 137-year-old historical monument. There’s even a piano. Unfortunately, due to the long gravel driveway and 3 flights of stairs, the house is not appropriate for wheelchair users unless they are ambulatory.

The available room is a bit unusual. It's quite small (70 sq ft), we think it might have originally been a baby's room. It's located on the third floor with a beautiful view of the garden and surrounding hills, particularly if you enjoy sunrises. It has a bed that was built for it which fits perfectly and has storage space underneath it. There is a small storage nook within the wall of the room, and space available in our attic, but the room is still definitely better for a minimalist or someone who is looking for a base in LA but primarily lives elsewhere. It shares a bath with the other room on the floor which has two sinks and a shower.

Please note there are no additional pets allowed as per our lease. Stove, refrigerator and washer/dryer are all less than 5 years old.

We're a group of five friends, grown adults (30+ would be a good fit), working in music, teaching, entertainment, nonprofits, and horticulture. We keep things clean and live-and-let-live. We're seeking an easy-going and considerate individual who is down to pitch in with light housework/chores to join our community. If you're interested, please don't hesitate to contact us.
