Would definitely prefer Brooklyn, but open to potential places in Manhattan (just would like to be close-ish to train stations for the commute to SoHo for work with less than a 40 min commute)
Preferred vibes (but not all required)
- Max of ~$3400/month (can be flexible for a great spot)
- Would definitely love to live in a brownstone, so please reach out!!
- Would love a space with decent amount of light
- I’m learning that in-unit washer/dryer is a luxury there.... but if you have it, that would be awesome.
- Some kind of AC would be super cool, but it's not a strong requirement
- The space can be furnished, but I don’t mind furnishing the space myself
- Good internet service options, please (Fios, Spectrum)
- Carbon monoxide and smoke alarms would be great (because ya know, safety first)
Hey. My name is Dominic, also go by Dom, pronouns are he/him. I’m 28 years old and a software engineer.
I'm looking to try out living in NYC for a few years. I spent the summer in Crown Heights, and the month of October in Bed-Stuy, but now, I'm looking to find a more permanent place. I have spent the last four years living in Oakland, California. I am currently in Oakland right now, but looking to return to New York soon.
If it ends up being a housemate situation, what I look for in a housemate is pretty simple really: consideration, friendliness, cleanliness, and positive vibes. If you're someone who values open communication, respects personal space, and doesn't mind the occasional chill conversation about random stuff, I assure you that we’ll probably get along just fine. I'm pretty easy-going and adaptable. I have a bit of a knack for keeping things neat and organized.
I can provide a reference/ledger from 3 previous landlords.
No pets, no car, and just me looking for a place.
