Hi!
I'm looking to stay/work in West Philly for just a few days this spring to explore the area and get a sense of whether it's somewhere I'd like to move to. I'll be traveling from the South, but I lived in NYC for a year and have spent lots of time on the east coast. I've been drawn to West Philly for a while for its quiet neighborhood feel, parks, bookstores, and proximity to the city. I'll likely spend a lot of my time working from coffee shops, visiting museums, and attending readings/shows in the evening.
I'm open to staying in a room with roommates, or if you're leaving town during the time frame I'm planning for, I'd love to watch after your space for you (would also be happy to cat sit). Budget and arrival date are flexible (preferably under $400 total/ <$70 per day).
I have a fantastic record as a roommate and guest; I'm clean, quiet, and will stay out of your hair (but, of course, I'm open to recommendations for activities and must-sees!). Hoping to find an accommodation that helps me bypass the Airbnb industrial complex <3
Happy to elaborate on any or all of the above, and learn more about you/your space over a call/email thread.
My name is Anna, and I'm a writer with a remote day job (what's new). I'm deeply interested in music and poetry, and will be seeking out readings and shows in Philly while there. I'm from and am currently based the South, but looking towards a future where I move back to the east coast.
Queer-friendly pls <3
