Hey there!

My friend Keans and I just moved into this space on April 1st. It’s a huge 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom in Crown Heights. We’re a little further out from the bars/restaurants/park as we are on Schenectady, but it is Crown Heights. AC Utica stop is about a 10 minute walk away, the 34 Crown Hts-Utica stop is 5 minutes walk.

The kitchen is all brand new appliances and cabinetry. The backyard is beautiful and spacious. We are in the process of filling some raised beds for a lovely garden space. Free laundry in basement. The building is 2 units, the other is the landlord but he is rarely here so it is essentially just us.

It is setup with an entry space when you walk in for bikes, shoes, coats, surfboards…etc. 2 large bedrooms in the front that are street facing but have beautiful light. And then you follow a hallway down passed the bathroom, the other bedroom, and the main living area/kitchen.

The 3rd room is small compared to the others but definitely spacious enough. It has a window but is facing an alley. It has a large closet. Would need some love but can definitely make cozy.

We’re still settling in, so if you have furniture and things you want to bring and add to the space you’re more than welcome. We’d all just have to agree on that.

Keans and I have travelled all over the world together from South Africa, to Indonesia and Hawaii and more. We’ve been through it all together and share food/space pretty regularly. We’d love to welcome someone into that communal style living if they want to be a part of it. Would want to become pretty good friends with the person moving in.

I work as a chef so I am gone most days until late. There’s times where we won’t see each other for a few days at a time. We like hosting and plan to do ticketed dinner pop-ups in the space. We’re doing cool shit, would love for you to be a part of that even if it just means hanging!

We like to keep it clean but some weekends things get left out.
