Hello!

We're looking looking for a third roommate to join our spacious 3-bedroom pre-war apartment facing Prospect Park.

Room Features: Unfurnished Primary bedroom facing the park. Hardwood floors. Tall ceilings. Includes TWO closets: one small walk-in closet and a normal closet. The room itself is relatively big. To give you an idea: it currently fits a queen sized bed, a big desk and with the remaining space, the current tenant was able to create a little nook for her evening reading/yoga... so there's lots of space!

Apartment Features: First floor apartment with in-unit washer/Dryer. Our kitchen includes a gas stove.

Rent is 1131.67 + utilities.

Utilities:
Internet: $ 80/month (split three ways)
Gas: Approx. $20/month (split three ways)
Electric varies with season: Typically $60-120/month (split three ways). Heat and water already included.

Location: Prospect Park South/Prospect Leffert Gardens, across from the Parkside Ave stop (Q and B trains), a 30 minute commute into Manhattan. Facing the south side of Prospect Park and citibikes. Lot of grocery stores nearby. Solid location.

Room available starting January 1, 2025 through July 1, 2025. We'd have you take over the current room's tenant name on the lease with the option to stay on for longer. Also, we can work with your schedule if you need to move in before the new year.

About This Lister

Currently, the other two roommates are men in their 30s (both use he/him pronouns), one working in musical theater and the other in radio journalism. Both occasionally work from home, although there are some periods where the house is empty for most of the day.... Overall, we value living in a quiet, friendly, and clean space. LGBTQ+ friendly.

As the current tenant of the room (she/her pronouns, journalist, also in my 30s), I'm happy to hop on a call to talk about my experience living in the space, which has been positive. This apt is really cozy and clean, the location is excellent, the building management is responsive, and the price can't be beat but I've decided I want to take off to travel in 2025 so I'm hoping to pass this deal along. I'm happy to answer questions!

This space is probably ideal for someone who doesn't work from home full-time and overall values a clean and quiet space in the evenings.... and someone who loves being close to the park! (because we are literally facing Prospect park). All in all, we'd love to have someone who's easy going and is interested in helping this place feel like a home.

If this sounds like a space you'd be interested in living in, send us an email telling us a bit about yourself.
