A cute L-shaped studio in Chelsea, right above meatpacking (stores, restaurants, clubs, + Whitney museum) and a block from highlight/ 2 blocks from west side highway (boardwalk along the river for running with piers that have restaurants, parks, etc). Furniture is all West Elm and having the bed and dresser “around the corner” from the rest of the apartment but without a door makes it feel more spacious and still super easy to host brunches, drinks, etc.

The kitchen is small but quite mighty — oven, stove, large fridge/freezer & dishwasher as well as plenty of storage makes it easy to meal prep or cook for a group.
Similarly, it has more closet space than most true 1 beds I looked at: 2 double closets and a deep storage one by the front door

The apartment is on the second floor so you can take stairs or elevator to it super easily. There are on 4 units on each floor and maybe 8 stories so our lovely live-in super, Chico, knows everyone, brings my packages to my door, and keeps the laundry room super clean. He also has a lil white dog that runs around in the yard behind the building that my apt looks over (happy to send pictures that weren’t taken at night :))

My favorite part is the cafe down the block - Cafe Urbana- where I like to work between calls when I WFH. Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods are ~10min walk away and there are a lot of workout places nearby (Barry’s, solidcore, equinox, humming puppy yoga), plenty of restaurants and happy hour options, and of course all the Chelsea galleries which have wine & great people watching for openings on Thurs/Fridays

About This Lister

Hii! Growing up in the bright lights big city of Cincinnati + studying art history in the middle of nowhere Massachusetts (Williams College) uniquely positioned me to be a New York consultant so here I am !

It’s been almost 6 years (with a hiatus for business school) and 3 different apartments so I’m not quite ready to give this lil gem up despite moving in with my bf downtown. I had so much fun decorating it, hanging the art, etc.. I really just want someone to enjoy it and live the fun Chelsea life I liked so much !
