About the apartment: Renting the largest bedroom in our second-floor, 3 bedroom apartment beginning March 15 through the end of the lease term on August 31st, with the option to sign the lease for one or two years.

Additionally there is a second bedroom coming available on May 1 for $945, if you know someone looking for a room then.

The bedroom can be empty upon move in, or we could negotiate a price on the queen sized bed, desk, and/or window AC unit that I will not be taking with me on my move. You would have your own full private bathroom, and two large closets.

The common spaces of the living room and kitchen will be mostly empty upon move-in, aside from the large appliances which are updated. A new stove will be delivered soon before move in.

Utilities + Internet are presently handled by one of the roommates moving out on April 30th, so the next tenant would have to assume that responsibility after they leave. Our cost usually runs around $70 in the warmer months and $85 in colder.

About the building: There is a shared washer-dryer for free use in the basement. No pets, unfortunately.

About the neighborhood: I love it here and I will miss this area. This is a 5 minute walk from the Bedford-Nostrand G, a 10 minute walk from the Nostrand A/C, and you’re surrounded by a number of buses and a citibike bay.

You would be sharing the apartment with Tariq, a gay Black man who mostly stays to himself but also has to travel for work frequently, and Derelle, who is nonbinary and will be moving out on April 30th, so if you have someone else you would like to share an apartment with, their room will be available for May 1st. Tariq and Derelle share the front bathroom.
