We will be traveling for work, and offering our spacious, sun-filled three-bedroom apartment for a 6 week sublet, from mid-December to mid-January, 2025. Due to the short duration, we are offering it at **$800 below market value** for anyone who wants to take it for at least 5 of the 6 weeks!

A bit about our space and why we love it:

On the cusp of three vibrant neighborhoods (Flatbush, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, and Ditmas Park), our home is 2 minutes from the B/Q trainline, and 500 ft from Brooklyn's largest park. A twenty minute walk will bring you to Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and Brooklyn Museum, as well as multiple farmer's market, the borough's main library, and nightlife. Grocery stores (chain and organic) within five minutes away, as is an abundance of Caribbean, Italian, and Latin American cuisine. Cortelyou's buzzy restaurant and bar scene is only 15 minutes to the south.

Our space includes kitchen, all appliances and cooking equipment, a king size TempurPedic mattress and pillows, a dresser, dining room set, and two dedicated spaces for working from home. Utilities include heat, water, and gas as well as a TV equipped with Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Hulu, and YouTube, and high-speed Verizon Fios internet (we pay $130/month for this but it is included at a discount in the asking price for the apt). There is also light workout equipment, yoga mats, air purifier, fans, and many other small amenities—please feel free to reach out for more info. We aim to always keep the space very clean, including weekly deep cleans, and the space will be cleaned again top-to-bottom before your arrival.

Live-in superintendent as well as in-building laundry makes for ease of general maintenance and laundry. Generous closet space available as well!

Choice to cat-sit (for a discount on rent), or we will remove our furry friend and deep clean for you. We'd subtract $100/month for catsitting.

We can also be flexible in other ways if the match is right!

I'm a PhD student at NYU, a writer, and poet. My partner works in human resources, studies nursing, and is avid skater and surfer. We have created our space as a personal haven for our creative practices and as a space for hosting friends and visitors.
