Hi All!

We have an amazing historic Victorian home in Kingston, NY - close to the Rondout waterfront and Uptown Stockade; surrounded by amazing restaurants, bars, shops, and everything Kingston has to offer. Walking, biking, and of course driving distance to all Hudson Valley charmers. It's had a lot of updates recently but also kept all is original beauty.

We will be traveling to see family and wanted to offer our lovely home during that time! We are offering a discounted homestay in hopes of finding the right person and because the stay comes with the lovely company of our house cat Meryl, so we’re looking for animal lovers but no additional pets unfortunately. She does not require any specific pet care, she just likes company :) She's around 11 years old, sweet and sleepy and loves new friends. She gets more Christmas cards than we do every year from families she has met over the years :)

The home is over 120 years old and has maintained the majority of is original detailing! We currently have it set up with three rooms for you to use - two bedrooms and a work-from-home office. There is a full bath and half bath, partially finished basement, large kitchen and a formal dining room! It has a large backyard, a peaceful front porch and is just an overall lovely place to spend time. The back deck also has a grill and a chiminea for burning wood at night.

We are a shoeless house as we love a bright clean space with happy rugs :) As this is a historic home, and furnished with our antiques and prized possessions, on a quiet residential block - it is not a party home but more of an enjoy the Hudson Valley by a fire with a glass of wine kinda home :)

RENTAL REQUIREMENTS

$300 Security deposit, which will be returned upon inspection of home and a simple lease drawn up as an agreement for us both. $100 cleaning fee.

Keith is a born and raised NYC artist who tours the globe with his band and paints and records in our home studio. Xristina is a therapist and florist originally from Greece with a lovely work-from-home space for you to enjoy. Together we have created a comfortable and eclectic home full of old antique pieces and our modern loves. We love to travel together and love to experiences others homes and cities through their eyes! Our home is clean, convenient and an ideal home away from home while you explore this amazing city.
