Hello! I’m looking for someone to take over my lease starting at the end of February. You'll be renting a room in a 4-story townhouse shared with 3 other roommates—1 male and 2 females in a prime location in Harlem, on the historic and affluent block of Strivers Row.
The townhouse offers a variety of great features, including:
A shared main kitchen on the main floor (please note that the kitchen is gluten-free due to celiac sensitivity).
Two laundry areas are on the premises for your convenience.
A beautiful back balcony, perfect for relaxing day or night.
A dining area where we occasionally have roomie dinners.
Two bathrooms—one on the ground floor and another on the top floor near your room.
Please note we’re not able to accommodate pets
You will be responsible, along with the other roommates, for maintaining the cleanliness of the communal spaces.
The room is fully furnished, with the exception of the clothes rack and television, so it’s ready for you to move in and make your own.
You’ll be living in a vibrant neighborhood with so much to offer! Within walking distance, you’ll find St. Nicholas Park, City College, and a variety of supermarkets for all your shopping needs. Explore the rich history of Harlem with landmarks like the historic Abyssinian Baptist Church and the renowned Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Plus, you’re just a short distance from Harlem Hospital, the YMCA, and an exciting array of restaurants offering everything from soul food to international cuisine.
And if you’re looking to be in the heart of the city, you can reach Midtown in under 30 minutes—perfect for a quick commute or a spontaneous night out!
Let me know if you’re interested or have any questions.
I'm a working professional in my 30s and am transitioning out of my room, so I’m looking for a respectful, easygoing woman to take over my lease. You’ll be living on the top floor with two other wonderful female roommates who have been in the residence for nearly two years. We’re seeking a responsible individual who values a peaceful, respectful living environment.
