450 sq. ft.

Bright and Cozy studio apartment available now. Located in the daylight basement of a 100+yr old Beacon Hill house, this 450 sq ft apartment has design touches and everything you’ll need to feel at home.

I am open to renting this short term (3-6 months) or via conventional 12 month lease. ***The price to rent without the furnishings is $1,550. The price to rent this apartment with the furnishings in this photo is $1,650. ***

The apartment features a gorgeous full bathroom with a tiled bathtub and shower. There is a generous vanity and large west facing window. The bathroom floor tile is from Tile Bar and yes is heated!

The kitchen has a full size fridge, a microwave, a 2 burner induction cooktop and an Anova Precision Smart Oven. Both of these items are not photographed as we did not have them when we took the photos. The kitchen also has large deep sink, lots of drawers, floating fir shelving and a dedicated coffee bar area.

Off street parking spot included with rent!

This is a basement apartment, but with as many windows and daylight as you would find in just about any apartment. Windows on all thee sides of the living area were made bigger to allow light to fill the main room, even on Seattle’s cloudiest days.

This apartment is located in a wonderful 1911 house on Beacon Hill that has two other rental units in it. The home has been painstakingly remodeled, with new wiring, new insulation + drywall, sound isolation between units, energy efficient heating and many more details.

Each unit has a separate entrance, on different sides of the house. The home is located one block from MapleWood Playfield, walking distance to MacPherson's fruit stand, Floret Bakery/Coffee, and more. Beyond that we are perfectly (in our opinion) triangulated between the Beacon Hill corridor, Georgetown and Columbia City. We think you’ll love your options nearby for anything you crave. Bus lines 60 + 107 stops less than 3 blocks from the house.

If you rent the home with the furnishings - it will include vintage pieces such as the leather love-seat, mid century coffee table, a Room & Board bed frame and 90’s wall unit that serves as a room divider/TV stand. Furnishings also include cooking supplies, plates, silverware, towels, linens, pillows and a 32” TV.

Rent is $1,550 unfurnished.
Or $1,650 furnished.
Utilities are $100 per month for water/sewer/garbage/electric + Wifi

About This Lister

I'm a documentary filmmaker and I also restore older homes and rent them out. I'm not a flipper - although I would probably be a lot wealthier if I was. I primarily live in Los Angeles, but spend a lot of time in Seattle - my hometown.

Lister's Relationship to the Space

I own it. I painstakingly remodeled it.
