The apartment is available starting March 1st till March 31st. Dates can be extended into April if need be at same monthly fee of $2000 at a prorated rate depending on dates. Longer stays are preferred within these months.

The sublet is for a furnished 1 bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment. The room has a queen size bed and closet space for your clothes. Space includes your designated working space desk located under a massive sky light right outside the main room in the common area. Your work time will be respected. Desk can be set up as a stand up or for sit down desk. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment which is better for privacy. The kitchen is in the middle next to the small communal space. Tons of light via skylights and windows and hardwood floors. Apartment has 1 bathroom with a shower, washer/dryer, microwave and dishwasher. It is equipped with all you need from bedding, towels, cooking supplies, clothes line, and a projector for streaming. It is a 4 floor walk up but has it's own entrance to a private deck on the roof. It may be a little cold still but spring is coming and it is a nice option to step outside into your own space regardless of temps.

Rent would include Wi-FI and several streaming services but not utilities which is gas and electric or film rentals/games. These will be charged as per the bill.

This is an easy to clean apartment and we like to keep it clean. Shoes at the door to help. Everything you need is here. Not looking for a in house party person but social is good. No smoking in the apt.

The apartment is a few blocks from Tompkins Square park and near restaurants, bars and local and main stream stores including Trader Joe's and Target. Whole Foods is 2 stops on the train toward Union Square or 1 stop to the one in Williamsburg. A farmers market is held every Sunday in the park.

The street is generally quiet with the usually City sounds. The bedroom is on the street side but not a main street. Ave A L train is closest train stop but you are in walking distance to several other trains and a block away from cross town busses. There are 2 nearby Citibike stations. One on the street and another a block and 1/2 away. The front door is controlled by a intercom system with video

Looking for is easy going person who is good with sharing spaces because you do cross paths. Cleanliness and an appreciation for vinyl is another plus.

Roommate in the place - I am in my early 30s and identify as she/her and open to all. I have been an activist and have working in the campaign world for most of my career. This entailed travel and living in different states. I am now with a non-profit located in New York. I'm clean in common spaces, and am a creative person who doesn't actually talk about politics much in my free time despite working as an organizer full time. But I can if you like too. Been here before but back after some time so I am enjoying re-rooting in New York.

I will be going into the office to work 3 days of the week but my desk is in my bedroom and I work all calls and zooms from there. I also tend to travel for work. You will have full privacy as needed for work and sleep. I can have long and normal hours days, but nothing too late and some travel dates for work. I am friendly and open to guests of course but the place is small so not meant for large engagements.

Looking for someone who is excited about the city and may like to cook. Funny is a plus.

Roommate you are subletting the room from - I have worked in music and film for over 20 years. I am often away for work. I leave the room guest happy and with your own set of bedding. I make sure to clear the space as much as possible and will accommodate however I can if you have questions or specific needs. I travel often and conscious of spaces and how to set them up. The room is lived in and mine but I leave it arranged so that there is space for your belongings. I can also say that the roommate you will be with is super great, has a magical disposition and positive vibe.
