• Furniture Includes: Queen bed & headboard, desk & chair, small lamp, mirror, 32-inch Roku tv, medium 6-draw dresser, A/C & ceiling fan, wall shelving, and wire storage organizers.

• Storage: Closet with built-in shelving and The bed sit high, so there’s room for storage underneath as well. Additional shared hanging closet space in the living room, if needed.

• Utilities: Gas, electricity, water, and WiFi approx additional $150 month each depending on season.

• Apartment: 2-flight walk-up, fully furnished with an in-unit washer & dryer, shared bathroom, baseboard heating, and A/C. The laundry closet and bathroom both give a good amount of space between our bedrooms.

• Kitchen: Ample amount of storage. You’ll have your own cabinets & drawers for your stuff. Food, utensils, dishware etc. are not shared.

• Neighborhood: Caribbean influences with many local amenities—restaurants, vegan cafés, coffee shops, juice bars, neighborhood groceries, fish markets, delis, bakeries, hardware shops, Walgreens, Target, barbershops, hair & nail salons, gyms, etc. all within walking distance.

Building:
• Amenities: Central garden courtyard with picnic tables. Bike room with 24-hour access at $5/month, paid to the building's superintendent.
• Pest Control: Comes once a month, never had a rodent/ pest issue.
• The apartment is not street-facing. The building and neighbors are generally quiet, friendly, and helpful, never had any issues here.

I’m Kay, a laid-back, easygoing chef and small business owner of a catering company with Caribbean heritage from Miami.
I’ve called this apartment home for the past eight years and love keeping it a peaceful, clean, and welcoming space. I work from home part-time, and while I enjoy good music, wine downs, and zen vibes, I’m definitely a “shoes off at the door” type and like to keep things neat.
My home is my haven, so I’m not one to bring the party back home—NYC has plenty of spots for that! I mostly keep to myself but love exploring the city whenever I get the chance.
