The home is centrally located and a 15-minute drive to shopping or social venues, and convenient to both UCLA and USC (we’re right in the middle of both). This is a beautiful neighborhood in the middle of the city and away from the major streets. The area is dead quiet at night and a great neighborhood to walk in the mornings and evenings. The home is a comfortable refuge in a chaotic city! We’re on the first floor (no stairs), so you can park, unload your things, enter the home, and go to bed! In addition, we have lovely neighbors.

These are locations within easy walking distance to the home: coffee shops (Paper of Plastik, Green Table Cafe, Starbucks), restaurants (Bloom, Sonoratown, Green Table Cafe, My 2 Cents, Fortune House Chinese), grocery store (Vons), Pilates studio (Whole Body Method).

The unit is currently pictured with a queen bed, which you may use, but it can be delivered empty (other furniture also available, chairs, desk, etc). The home has everything needed for domestic life (iron, ironing board, blender, etc).

About me: I’m an MFA filmmaker working in commercial and digital production while also taking advanced courses at UCLA. Male, straight, 40s. My last housemate was a music composer (also from UCLA) who left to live with his partner. We both saw the home as a place to recharge and think, with the rest of the city as a social experiment.

Looking for: A working professional, graduate student, artist, or filmmaker. Someone on the quiet side while at home who doesn’t bring the party home (like, there are hundreds of bars around us!) Someone who washes their dishes and doesn’t make a mess at home. Basically, a courteous adult. International students are welcome.
