This 700 square foot two-bedroom was fully renovated in 2008 and has beautiful wood floors, great windows, and a large, open kitchen.
The kitchen and living room are one room and the bedrooms open into that room directly. The unit has a minisplit AC in and heating unit in that main room.
The apartment has its own laundry machine and dryer as well as dishwasher. It is on the 4th floor, with no elevator, but a great distance from the street with a wonderful coffee shop downstairs.
The ABCD trains are a five minute walk away. The red lines are 10 to 15 minutes away. There is a citi-bike station on the next block. The apartment is easy travel to Columbia and midtown.
(I'll note that the photos are a bit outdated but most of the changes have been upgrades. I'll share details when we message. I want to be transparent and for this to be a great experience for both of us.)
Send any questions my way!
I am a woman in my forties, originally from the deserts of Arizona, but have been on the east coast for 10+ years. I work at a non-profit organization that is driving business as a force for good. I was based out of NYC but now work remotely from a small town in CT. I love being in the city but don't make it there as much as I should!
I own it. It was and will be my personal apartment.
This is a mid- to long-term rental so I look for stays that ideally align with academic calendars or semesters. I have this priced for one person and am hoping for a single tenant but I have made this work with couples as well. Message me if you are two people and/or to talk about rental price. If tenants take on the electric bill, for example, I can change the rent accordingly. My goal as a landlord is for my tenants to have a great experience and for me to have one as well (what it the point of money if not peace and ease? :) ). I have had wonderful relationships with long-term tenants and hope to keep it that way.
This is my personal apartment when I am in NYC so it is fully furnished and equipped. I took great pride in setting up the place so I look for people who would care for it like I would.
Right now I am on the lookout for someone to take the place starting in June (it is getting cleaned on the 7th), ideally through the end of the summer or for a year. I can discuss a longer-term contracts as well.
