Looking to fill my sunny and spacious room in the historic garden district of Jackson Heights, near intersection of 85th St/34th Av (the latter is NYC's longest open street--i.e., closed to cars; pedestrians/cyclists only!). The neighborhood has some of the best and most diverse food in New York City, the fabulous "open street" for walking/cycling, and a generally wonderful community feeling.

1 room (in a 2-floor 4-bedroom), $915, Jackson Heights near 7 train and E/F/M/R trains (6 blocks from 7 train at 82nd St Station; 14 mostly short blocks to E/F/M/R at Roosevelt Av/Jackson Heights Station), pets on a case by case basis, no couples, 2nd floor walkup (steep staircase) and apartment spans floors 2 and 3.

The apartment spans two floors. The middle floor contains 2 bedrooms (including yours), a bathroom, laundry room, and the kitchen/public space, and the top contains 2 bedrooms + a second bathroom. There is a dishwasher and laundry in-house, tons of sunlight, a slate roof, and wonderful mouldings/hard-wood floors/etc.!

The room is fairly large with two windows that bring in lots of sunlight throughout the day, it also faces an alley so it's fairly quiet. It will come unfurnished. Cleanliness and friendliness are priorities here! If you're interested, send us a bit about yourself 🙂
