Welcome to Apt 5D!
We have one room available in our sunlit and spacious 3 bed/1 bath apartment from roughly May 1st to August 1st, with flexibility for both move-in and move-out dates.
about the apartment:
we're a brief walk to the Nostrand A/C, less than 5min to both the B44 & B65, and have a citibike dock at the end of the block. we're a 5th floor walk up with laundry in the basement, and laundromats around the corner on Nostrand if you prefer. Kitchen is equipped with all basic appliances and an air fryer/toaster oven. we have a record player & lots of plants, and we'd love to add to our collection if you have any of either! :) [apartment is not in its tidiest state in these last-min pictures taken, but we certainly maintain a clean space]
about the room:
the room would come unfurnished, but i could be interested in selling my ikea malm bed frame, mattress and some of the shelving pictured. it has 2 decently sized closets, and a window that leads to fireplace access. fits my full sized bed with ease, and could definitely fit a queen. 9 x 11.5 ft
we're looking for someone who wants to contribute to our easy-going atmosphere -- no obligation to become best friends, but we'd love to be able to maintain a friendly rapport! ideally clean but not a neat freak, open communicator, responsible, LGBTQ+ friendly. please send us a blurb about yourself -- feel free to include your work, living/lifestyle habits, and expectations in cohabitation.
salma - (they/she) i'm the one who's room is pictured, and feeling bittersweet to leave! i've been here for 1 year, after also having found this place on listings project :) having this serene place to come home to has been a dream, and bumping into ian & joel around the apartment makes any day brighter <3
joel - (he/him) i work a lot, out of the apartment often. i'm an audio engineer, and am often tinkering with my instruments or gaming when i'm home.
ian - he/they — kind, friendly, works from home. work in climate policy, responsible for maintaining apartment plants. novice guitar player, writer, yapper but will leave you alone if thats what you prefer!

last 2 pay stubs for proof of income, and signing a sublet agreement.
