This gorgeous 450 sq ft loft space is quiet and flooded with light. It is in a converted factory building filled with creative people. The studio has original hardwood floors, 14-foot ceilings, two original brick walls, and 6 huge windows. It is a corner unit and on the second floor. (Note: there is no passenger elevator, but there is a freight elevator for your use.) There is a slop sink close by, as well as a multi-stall restroom.

The studio is available three full days per week (some flexibility on which days, but best days might be Tuesday, Wed, and Thursday--weekends an option, too). You would have the studio completely to yourself when you are using it. The other tenant is a photographer who travels a great deal, and I am a chef, who uses the space infrequently for events. I also have the studio next door, which houses my kitchen.

The ideal tenant is able work dust/debris free and tuck away their belongings when there is an event in the space (usually, 1 time per month). I realize this may not be ideal for everyone, but there is plenty of storage on site for your use. Plus, you get bonus snacks and cocktails!

You can rent month-to-month, but I ask for two full months' notice for departure.

Location: on 44th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. Close to the R at 45th and the D/N at 36th. Also close to the B63 and B37 buses. There are two citibike stations at either end of the block, plus a paid lot 8 blocks away.
