The apartment has lovely hardwood floors and an open layout. This has been my home for over four years. The apartment is fully and thoughtfully furnished and well-kept. Not seeking any additional furniture to the space. Laundry in the unit is very convenient as well as a trash room on the apartment level. The building is entirely run on electricity, so there is just one monthly utility bill as well as internet that is split. The oven runs the bill through the roof. If you’re someone who oven cooks quite often, the bills may be split differently.

The building is pretty well maintained by management and has a very communal vibe with the neighbors. Everyone is super friendly and helpful to one another. Many animals in the building and young families. It’s a really lovely vibe and an excellent location with all the changes in the nighborhood!

The building is across the street from Herbert Von King Park with a dog run and the Kosciuszko pool. About a block from the G train, and buses, and close to all the neighborhood coffee, bars, and restaurants.

The room is a medium size 8 1/2 X 10 feet with a small but deep closet. Large window with amazing light year-round. It comes with a full-size bed frame, mattress not included. Could get rid of bed frame or keep.

We face a playground and have a view of treetops, which is lovely.

The rooms are on opposite sides of the apartment.

Looking for someone of similar age. No WFH, please do not ask. Friendly, social, easy going, fellow creative a plus, but most importantly a healthy communicator, extremely clean, and overall considerate and thoughtful person. I enjoy living with those who view the apartment as their home and as such take care of the space, take initiative, and have a teamwork/communal mindset concerning the space. This means doing tasks and contributing without being asked. Would love someone who is equally social and also values space and alone time. Someone who loves dogs and has lived with them in the past. (May be adopting another small dog soon!) No parties and no drugs inside the apartment (edibles fine), no smoking inside with zero tolerance. Friends over occasionally for hangs and dinner nights is welcome!

You are only furnishing the bedroom.

Would love someone with a SMALL extremely friendly dog for Margot to have a pet friend at home who also hangs at home while humans are at work :) Dog 30lbs or so, very well-behaved, housebroken, and no chewing. We’ll see if they get along! Must be extremely friendly with other dogs and no sign of territorial behavior. I’m sorry, cats are not allowed, please do not ask.

I am 34 and work full-time camera in the film industry with a very sweet and mellow 13-year-old Australian shepherd dog.

I am a healthy communicator, considerate, clean, friendly, social with boundaries, creative, and overall a very easygoing and kind person. I take care of my home space and value a healthy environment. I keep the apartment very clean and tidy and expect the same effort from whoever is sharing the space. I don’t do a chore chart as I would like to live with someone who also takes the initiative in caring for the apartment.

I love listening to music and watching movies at home. I ride bikes and enjoy long rides during the summer, live music, and tasty food, I ride horses whenever I can, volunteer part-time at a Dressage barn, hike and lake adventures when possible, photography, and spend as much time with Margot as possible. I love to have friends over for coffee hangs, movie nights, and occasional dinners.
