Amazing location right by the C train, short walk to the G. 10 minutes easy walk to Fort Greene Park, 15 minutes to Prospect Park. All the conveniences and comforts at your doorstep.

This is a humbly but thoughtfully furnished artist's home. Not a Trust Fund artist, but the kind that actually works for a living. By which I mean, the apartment is simple, cosy, well-organized, and lovingly cared for. There are a few tiles missing in the bathroom and the intercom is broken- but the vibes are immaculate. I generally prioritize other artists and creative gig-workers in need of affordable housing and work space.

Medium-firm queen size bed. Closet and drawer space will of course be cleared out for you. Basic but good quality linen, towels etc.

Lounge area with a small projector for movie night, and a dining suite for four.

A modest library of good books.

Sunny reading nook in the bedroom, overlooking the fire escape where I keep a little potted garden of herbs and greens.

A meditation chair by the same window, if that's your thing.

Bathroom with tub. Kitchen with all the things you might need.

In addition to the usual comforts, the apartment has a small work space, suitable for a range of remote and/or creative work (I am a full-time artist, visual artist, curator and textile designer, and this is my full-time studio as well as my home). Comes equipped with a desk (adjustable height- standing or seated), ergonomic saddle-stool seat and a few moveable work surfaces. Professional quality medium format digital photo printer (Epson SP-900, which you are welcome to use if you replace the ink) and a laser printer/copier/scanner for more everyday print jobs. Small but reliable sewing machine, and a few other bits and bobs I am happy to leave out for anyone who could make use of them (ie- leather-working supplies, stuff like that).

Perfect for one person or a couple.

Directly above the C train, 20 minutes to manhattan. 8 minute walk to the G.

Laundry service and bodega directly across the road, wholesome markets accross the road for basics, Key Foods 8 minutes on foot for a bigger shop. Hungry Ghost coffee right near by.

- Amazing neighborhood: Clinton Hill in Brooklyn. Short walk to Fort Greene, Prospect Heights, Park Slope, Crown Heights, and Bed Stuy.

- Conveniently located right outside the Clinton Washington C train (25 min to 14th St) or short walk to BQ2345 at Atlantic Barclay Center. Or ride your bike (locked in the courtyard). G train to Williamsburg / Greenpoint a few blocks walk.

- Great bars and restaurants steps outside. Stocked grocery stores with handsome produce within 2 blocks. Fish mongers, cheese mongers, Korean, Mexican, nothing but beer, Emily's Pizza, nothing but pie, Sisters, nothing but mac & cheese, etc. etc.

- Less than 1 mile away to either Fort Greene park or Prospect Park. Farmer's markets on the weekends at both! Brooklyn Library, Botanic Gardens, and Brooklyn Museum all right there.
