Corner bedroom in our 3-bed, 1.5-bath apartment in Crown Heights available Dec 15, give or take (just coordinate with our current roommate). Sublet term would be 6 months with the option to extend if it's the right fit. Possibility for a flexible January 1 start date!

The room is about 10x10 feet with 2 closets and 2 windows. We are on the corner of Eastern Parkway and Franklin, right at the subway stop. It's a pre-war building with an elevator, but is not ADA accessible. No laundry in the building (3 laundromats nearby).

Common spaces include kitchen, living room, and additional dining area. Bathroom has good storage. The apartment has beautiful hardwood floors and north-facing windows throughout.

About This Lister

We're a lesbian couple in our early 30s, one writer/editor and one fine artist. We have 2 cats, one is very sweet and old and the other is chatty and energetic. We can't accommodate any additional pets.

I work from home full-time right now and my partner works from home 2 days/week. For that reason, we'd strongly prefer someone who works away from home or has a hybrid schedule.

We're clean people and would like to live with a clean roommate. We have friends over regularly for meals and movies but rarely throw parties. Our roommate would be welcome to have friends over, too, we'll just coordinate to make sure the common spaces are free.
