Hello!

I recently moved into a lovely 2-bedroom apartment in Ridgewood that I share with a friend and flatmate. I'll be out of town for work for the remainder of the month (possibly longer) and am looking for someone to sublet my room.

Since we just moved in, the space still feels fresh and a bit minimal — somewhere between an Airbnb and a full sublet, which I think some people might enjoy. The room has a brand-new queen-sized mattress and bed frame, a few books, some art, and not much else at the moment.

The room is light-filled and quiet, located on the second floor of a two-unit building. Kitchen amenities are new, heating/AC/hot water/internet all functional. It's a < 5-minute walk to the M train (Forest Ave stop) and about a 10-15 minute walk to the L. Right next to a dozen very cute cafes, bookstores, record stores, clothing shops, restaurants, and more.

My flatmate will be there, he's a very easygoing and friendly person who loves to cook and works in music and nightlife, so he'll probably be out in the evenings and sleep in most mornings.

I'm mainly hoping to cover my portion of the rent, proportionally adjusted based on the duration of your stay. I'm fairly flexible on pricing and timing, especially since this is a bit last-minute. If you’re interested, please let me know!
