Hello! We have a room available in our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Bed Stuy apartment.

The room is furnished with a brand new full size mattress, and wooden bed frame. There's 1 closet. It's got two big windows that face the backyard. From late March-late November there's a tree that blossoms and that's most of the view, still giving you a lot of sunshine and bringing in a nice breeze.

The room has central heating and during the summer we install the air conditioner in the window. You will only share a bathroom with 1 person, third bedroom has its own private bathroom. The apartment has central heating during colder months, air conditioners for spring/summer and an air purifier we run 24/7.

The kitchen is fully equipped and opens out to the living room. There’s lots of natural light all throughout the apartment. As pictured, we have a pole that I got as a hobby during the pandemic, it's not currently being used but it's there if it interests you. The apartment is on the top floor of a 3 story walk up (2 flights). There are only two other tenants in the building (one per floor). Our street is very quiet, but one street parallel to us is Fulton Street and you can find anything you need there.

The closest train is the A/C, on Kingston Throop (around the corner) or Nostrand Ave (10 min walk). There are also two citi bike stations on opposite ends of the street. There’s a supermarket (Mr.Carrot) located around the corner with lots of vegan and organic products and there's another supermarket 3-4 blocks away with a gym across the street. No laundry in the building but two laundromats also around the corner on each side (again, everything you need in on Fulton).

We're looking for someone who is respectful, tidy, like minded and ideally works 9-5ish. Ideally you're in your late 20s, early 30s. Our home is a quiet, peaceful space for unwinding, not a party house. We have mostly vegan/vegetarian diets so it’s a bonus if you do, too. Looking for "feminine energy" in our home.

My name is Linda, I'm from Brooklyn and have lived in this apartment for a while. I'm currently in school during the day and waitressing/usually gone at night. I get home from work around 1/2am. Don't spend much time in the apartment and don't really cook. I leave early and I'm home late. I have a very busy schedule so it's likely you'll only see me a few times a week.

Anais just came from Philly. She works a 9-5 full time programming/directing art job and tends to spend a lot of time out of the apartment. She just moved to New York and spends a lot of time exploring the city.

We're both very clean & tidy in our communal spaces. Our schedules are so different and that allows us to have the apartment to ourselves most of the time, though I really am rarely home. Neither of us bring guests home or have *sleepovers* at our place. Looking for someone like minded that treats our space like their own.
