We're looking for someone to house sit our two-bedroom, two-bathroom, two-floor apartment in a Prospect Heights brownstone while we're traveling this summer. We'll ask you to water our plants while we're gone (we'll provide instructions at booking). We keep the apartment clean and request that you do, too. Apartment details:

*Bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and multiple closets. The other bedroom has a full-size bed, couch and desk.
*Large living space and separate kitchen on the parlor level. Massive dining room table!
*Terrace off the kitchen and private backyard.
*Beautiful brownstone features throughout - high ceilings, dark wood trimmings, and a pocket door :-).
*Unfinished basement with washer/dryer.
*Vanderbilt Avenue on one side, Flatbush Avenue on the other - tons of local restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery stores, etc.
*One avenue from the 2/3 train and 2.5 blocks from the Q train.
*Window A/C units on both floors. Note that we *don't* have a window A/C in the main bedroom, but have a ceiling fan. It generally stays comfortable but can be a bit toasty if the temperate is >85 degrees.

We're ideally looking to fill the whole month, but are open to requests for a smaller period of time (10-day minimum).

We're a recently married couple in our mid- to late-30s. We've lived in this apartment since 2022 and feel lucky to get to enjoy such a beautiful brownstone! We will be your point of contact throughout the month (though will be traveling in Europe so not necessarily available 24/7).
