UA Studios NYC offers dynamic art-making spaces in the heart of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, a thriving creative hub in New York City. Designed exclusively for our members, our studios provide an inspiring environment for growth, collaboration, and experimentation.

Why UA Studios?
Each of our 1,500 sq ft studios accommodates 8 to 10 artists, featuring large white movable walls that allow artists to customize their working spaces, ranging from 145-250 sq ft per artist. This flexible layout ensures both autonomy and a collaborative atmosphere.

Located in Building 77 at Brooklyn Navy Yard, our studios are housed in a secure, 24/7 accessible facility with state-of-the-art infrastructure, impressive large windows, and breathtaking views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan skylines. Artists will also find a food court with top eateries like Russ & Daughters, Transmitter Brewery, Pizza Yard, and more, as well as access to NYC Ferry, CitiBike, and the free BNY shuttle bus.

About This Lister

Uncool Artist, established in Brooklyn, NY, in 2018, is an artist-run international organization dedicated to providing diverse opportunities for artists. It is the culmination of over 20 years of artistic practice and education led by the Brazilian artist Carolina Paz.

Our focus is on nurturing bonds among artists, providing collective support, and facilitating the creation, management, and execution of significant projects. We aim to produce critical and creative knowledge in art that strengthens subjectivities, creates new communities, and transforms social structures to be more inclusive and diverse.

UA offers a comprehensive ecosystem for artists to grow in their practices and careers. We provide customized remote and in-person programs and projects with the latest technologies and methodologies.
