I'm a freelance writer driving to NYC for a freelance job, and will be bringing my ten-year-old, 50 LB mutt, Mucca.

I'm a former New Yorker (18 years in NYC!), and I escaped to Chicago during the pandemic.

I'm coming to town for work, but also to get a sense of whether or not I want to migrate back full-time.

In the past I have sublet my own apartment, so I am aware of how important it is to be respectful of your things, water your plants, get your mail, whatever. No problem.

I'm a lady in my mid-fifties, and will be working on-site in Manhattan three days a week, and from home the rest of the time. Likely will drive my dog to daycare on the LES on the days I'm out at work.

Ideally could start renting on Sunday night 12/1 around dinnertime, and check out Friday, December 20th before work.

That said, there is a chance that my job may go through mid-January, and I may ask if I can extend the sublet, if that's an option.

I'd be happy to FaceTime with you so you can meet Mucca and I, and I could see your place.
