I am subletting my writing space for the month of March.
Open to writers/creatives/producers/graphic designers or an artist who's work isn't too messy. Looking for 1 person to take the entire time ONLY as this is a very special private community.
My colorful and comfortable studio has a large desk, non-flourescent lighting, a work table, and a comfy chair and ottoman. There is ample common work space outside of the private studios including access to our wood shop, lounge, two kitchenettes, and large work tables. Everything is included in the price: private studio, common areas, wifi, electric, trash, water.
My space is inside a 7,000-square-foot space inside the Civil-War-era Beard Street Warehouse building on a pier in Red Hook, Brooklyn. It contains 16 visual artist work spaces, a music studio, a shared wood shop with tools and other equipment, an art gallery, and a stage for performances. Shared with 16 other residents we are a community that enjoys spending time together.
Enjoy the calm of Red Hook while you write your next book or work on your project. Birds chirping, waves crashing.
I'm a Brooklyn based interdisciplinary writer and author. I have 2 kids and a dog and am looking for someone who would benefit from a creative oasis in the city. I'm kind, honest, and easy going. Expect the same in return.
