Art & Artists
Dozens of artists find and share art studio spaces every week on Listings Project. These artists are the lifeblood of our communities, keeping us connected to and engaged with the things that matter most. In this series, we showcase some of these art studios that were listed with us recently. To see our current available art studio listings, check out our most recent listings.

Garett Nelson is an artist working from his ceramics studio in DUMBO, Brooklyn. You can find Garett on Instagram.
“We have space in a shared studio for 6 ceramicists to share resources with 2 shelves of private storage each. The entire studio is 1,300 sf with 7-south facing windows and 3 west-facing windows, overlooking the Manhattan Bridge. I'm an interdisciplinary artist & designer, slowly building the resources of our studio so it is easier to do many kinds of work in one place.” - Garett Nelson
Craig Shepard is a composer and instrumentalist working from his studio in Long Island City, Queens.
“Perfect for instrumentalist, drummer, jazz combo, producer, or small ensemble. Very quiet space with windows and a southern exposure. It's a commercial building on the first floor up two flights of steps on Borden Avenue near 27th Street in Long Island City. No elevator. Extensive sound attenuation. Can not even hear the punk band across the hall. I am a composer and instrumentalist. I've been in the space for seven years and love it.” - Craig Shepard
